Joke from Shari

My daughters delight in telling jokes. You know the kind, "What do you get when you cross an alligator and a cupcake? . . . A cupgator." The kind where you're supposed to slap your knee, guffaw mightily, and proclaim them to be the funniest kids ever. And the first dozen jokes or so are mildly humorous, I guess.

Even Josh is into the joke telling: "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" . . . Josh then breaks out into hysterics.

Needless to say, this is probably why I crack myself up so much . . . no one else is really that funny.

So I was truly happy when Shari told me this joke the other day, "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Muuuuuulan." "Muuuuuuulan who?" She stares off into the distance, raises a finger, and says, "Uh, I'm still working on this one."

I slapped my knee, guffawed mightily, and proclaimed her to be the funniest kid ever.

Viva la Shari! May she continue to make me laugh :)
