I'm loving my college jobs. I'm at Collin County Community College MWF from 8-9am teaching a developmental reading class. This is for students who still need work on building their reading skills so they can handle the college-level reading work. It's a very quiet group--I'm hoping that's just because it's an early morning class and not because I'm that boring.
TTh from 11-12:20 I'm at University of North Texas teaching an undergraduate course to preservice teachers. It's Literacy Early Childhood-4th grade. I reaaaally love that class.
It's been interesting finding my groove again as a teacher. I think I'm almost there. And of course teaching at such ends of the spectrum makes for a nice challenge.
Other than that . . . not much else going on here. Josh was sick yesterday and recouping today. Let's just say Robby would think this illness was funny (lots of vomiting). Thank heavens Joseph takes care of that for me!
