Joseph had to work this morning (actually, he's still at work. It's 3:30 pm). Hmm . . . that could very well be why I had a headache this morning. Or maybe not. Maybe it was because I hadn't had my caffeine fix. But I doubt that. It was only 10:30 am. I usually don't start on the caffeine till after lunch.
Anyway, I loaded the kids up in the car so we could go to lunch. We ate a delicious flame-grilled burger from Burger King. (Tangent: when I was a kid, I hated their commercials. "Flame-grilled. Just like you would make." I would always say back, "Not at our house. We fry them in a pan."--I was a Wendy's fan. I would make my own commercials and say, "Fried on a pan. Just like you make them at home.") That took a whopping (get it!) 20 minutes. So I headed east on Hwy 380 and decided to look at the town of Princeton some more. (Plus I knew they had a Sonic we could stop at and kill more time. Why not go to the park? The kids were still in their PJs.)
We stopped at the Sonic, windows rolled down, enjoying the low 80* weather. Fabulous day! Finally, I realized I was not going to be able to explore much longer as nature was calling, so we hit the road. I turned off to follow a sign that said, "WWII POW Camp." Now all that's there is a park and a plaque. At least there was a dumpster where I could unload our day's trash at.
Okay, I think the point was that I had a headache before we left. By the time I was driving home I realized my headache was gone! Hallelujah!
You know what. As soon as we walked in the door it came back. Can we say psychosomatic?
