I was out getting myself a little treat tonight when I thought of a terrifically funny blog. I just couldn't wait to get home and share it with all y'all (that's Texan for 'you guys'). Do you think I can remember what it was?? Ugh!
So, I'll tell you that I've put my adventure novel in the drawer for awhile. I don't know how a girl like me ended up with a novel that had kids fighting an evil Chinese demon. I like adventure novels. I just don't want to write one.
I figured out another novel. More sedate. Probably more boring. But at least I can use my girly experience to write it (I close my eyes in during fight scenes in movies and skim through the fighting in the novels). But I think it will still be worth writing---and reading. I can't say more, or I won't feel like writing it. Let me just say the working title is "Lexi Q. Lexington's Last Will and Testament: The Spelling Bee."
