Sing Out Loud, Sing Out Strong

I'm hiding in my room. Joseph is gone for the weekend. Joshua is taking a nap. The girls are watching 101 Dalmations. They've been watching that movie and The Aristocats on an almost-continuous loop for the past two days. (Both recent Easter acquisitions from grandparents.) Actually, I should say the girls were watching the movie. Shari has just come up the stairs singing at full voice, "Cwuella DeVil, Cwuella DeVil, If she doesn't scare you, everything will. Cwuella, Cwuella DeVil." I love it!

On a similar note, last night when I was tucking the girls in I asked them which song they wanted me to sing. Oh, that would be the "Cat Song" from The Aristocats. I'm glad singing only "Everybody wants to be a cat, 'cause being a cat that's where it's at" (or whatever the words are) sufficiently suffoncified them. I just don't learn the words as quickly as the girls do. Of course, maybe that's because they just sing whatever word comes into their head?
