C'est Lavi or La Vie . . .

Well, I have to thank all of you who have taken French and who have NOT laughed at me to my face in regards to my spelling of C'est la vie. I have taken Latin, German, Spanish, and Welsh. But never French. And in all my vast reading, I have not come across this phrase in print. Until today. I had to read it twice to make sure I was reading the right phrase. I then slammed my book shut (after marking where I was reading, of course) and ran to the computer (okay, only merely picked it up off the floor) so that I could fix the glaring reminder that, although I try, I am not yet perfect. C'est la vie!
