Today we went hunting for some bluebonnets. We live in Texas . . . it's the law. Every spring the bluebonnets come up. Every spring you gather your chiluns and spouse, hitch up 'old Bessie and head out to take family photos among the iridescent blue state flower.
Well, we didn't find any. But we DID find Indian paintbrushes--out near Celina, Texas. Here's the result of this slightly untraditional spring photo shoot. (But hey, when have I done anything the traditional way?)
