Play Date

Peek-a-boo, I see you! Hey,

Now you see me, now you don't.

Red Rover, Red Rover, send Shari over while

London Bridge is falling down.

While Mr. Wolf's out chasing flocks

of kids who play with Bo Peep's sheep

we’ll watch Jack and Jill roll down the hill

right past Boy Blue who’s fast asleep.

We'll rock-a-bye baby, in the tree top

then ashes, ashes, we'll fall down before

ringing around our mulberry bush.

Then off we'll row right down that stream.

Midday we'll visit Muffin Man

and Cow who jumps by light of the moon

We’ll dine on hot cross buns and fat and lean

then feast on pease porridge hot with silver spoon.

When Wee Willie Winkie runs through the town

we'll wish we may, wish we might

have another adventure—a grand play date adventure

come morning light.
