I did NOT get the full-time job at the college. They decided to go with someone with more recent experience. But they did love me and want me to teach for them part time. I said, of course I will. There's a full-time position coming available in the fall. The dean said, "Let's just say it's a bonus if you're already working for us part time." So maybe I'll be able to move up in the fall.
So, a little bummed (I'd already been dreaming of how I would decorate my office), but overall very excited that I'm still cute enough to teach!
