That Ah-Hah Feeling

There I was, driving along the road, singing along with the Indigo Girls to their song "Jonas & Ezekiel" (or whatever the title really is) when it hit me for the first time. What Amy and Emily were singing . . . since college I've been singing "Fallen to the head, now he's dead." I know that doesn't make much sense, but neither does most of their song. I don't know why it took me over 15 years to finally understand the lyrics, but it did. The lyrics really are "A bullet to the head, now he's dead." (just in case you've been singing the wrong words too)

Don't you just get a sense of great accomplishment when you figure out something as simple as a song's lyrics? I do. Maybe I just don't expect much from life. :)
